Coverage

Communities we deliver to

We run dumpsters out of our 1635 W Haskel St yard across Appleton and out into Grand Chute, Kimberly, Little Chute and every surrounding Fox Valley community. If your address is not on this list, call anyway — we probably still get there.

Before you call

Have these four things ready

  1. 1

    The delivery address

Street address, and if access is tight — a narrow driveway, an alley, a shared lot — mention it. Older Appleton blocks can be tighter than the newer Fox Cities developments; we plan around it either way.

  2. 2

    What is going in it

Household contents, roofing, mixed construction debris, furniture, yard waste — and flag anything Wisconsin regulates separately, like paint, solvents, oils, tires, batteries, hazardous chemicals, gas cylinders, propane tanks or medical waste, so we can route it correctly instead of loading it in with everything else.

  3. 3

    Where it should sit

Driveway, curb lane or jobsite. In most cases, placement entirely on your own property needs no permit; a street or sidewalk placement in Appleton needs a right-of-way permit from the city — tell us when you book and we'll walk you through it.

  4. 4

    When you need it

Same day, tomorrow morning, or a set date — and roughly how long you want to keep it. Extensions are easy to arrange, but planning ahead is best.

Permits

Property vs. public right-of-way

On your own property

In most cases, a dumpster that sits entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot needs no city permit at all — that covers the large majority of jobs we deliver across Appleton and the Fox Cities. The City of Appleton's own right-of-way permit rules are written specifically around street and sidewalk placement, not private property. Every lot is a little different, though, so if you're not sure, ask us or the city when you book and we'll tell you plainly before the truck leaves.

On the street or sidewalk

Placement in the public street or on a sidewalk in Appleton requires a Permit to Occupy the Public Right-of-Way from the City of Appleton's Public Works / Engineering division — a modest, non-refundable fee, with processing that can take up to five business days, so it's worth sorting out before delivery day rather than the morning of. Tell us your street situation when you call and we'll tell you plainly whether your job needs one.

Answers

Contact questions

What information do you need when I call?

Four things, and the call takes about two minutes: the delivery address, roughly what you're throwing away, where you want the container to sit, and when you need it. If you're unsure about the size, describe the pile and we will size it. A photo of the driveway or curb helps if the placement is tight.

Do you serve my community?

We cover Appleton, Grand Chute, Kimberly, Little Chute and surrounding Fox Valley communities — plus Kaukauna, Menasha, Neenah and Greenville, 7 communities in all beyond Appleton proper. Just outside that? Call anyway — we can usually make it work.

What are your hours?

Mon–Sat 7:00am – 6:00pm. Deliveries and collections run through the working day. Ring outside hours and you can leave your address on a message — we'll call back first thing.

Can I email instead of calling?

You can email info@briggsbrothersdumpsterrental.com and we'll reply, but the phone is far quicker for anything time-sensitive. Sizing a container is a conversation — two questions on a call usually settles what an email thread will not. For same-day delivery, always ring.

Is there a charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and given over the phone, not an estimate that moves later. We'll also tell you when a smaller container does the job, which is the opposite of what a pushy sales pitch does.

Do I need a permit for my address?

Depends where the container sits. In most cases, a container entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot needs no city permit. A public street or sidewalk placement in Appleton requires a right-of-way permit from the city — mention it when you call and we'll walk you through exactly what your job needs.
