Roll-off dumpsters delivered to your driveway, jobsite or curb lane anywhere along the Fox River — from Appleton itself out to Grand Chute, Kimberly, Little Chute, and surrounding Fox Valley communities — most orders called in early go out the same day. One transparent flat rate with the tonnage written down, and straight answers on what's actually required before you load a thing.

Why Appleton calls Briggs Brothers Dumpster Rental Appleton
We built Briggs Brothers Dumpster Rental Appleton to fix the same complaints that keep coming up around dumpster rental everywhere else — unclear pricing, late deliveries and haulers who go quiet once the container's on the ground. We run it the other way: quote a real number, show up when we said we would, and treat somebody's driveway like it's our own. Every job is ours end to end — our truck, our driver, our yard. When you dial (920) 280-7323 you reach a real Appleton team, not a national dispatch queue that's never tried to back a loaded roll-off up a narrow Fox Cities driveway or figured out which Outagamie County roads turn to slush after a heavy lake-effect snow.
That local knowledge is most of the job here. Knowing which Appleton streets need a City right-of-way permit for a curb placement and which don't. Knowing that a gut renovation full of plaster and lath torn out of an older Appleton home will hit its tonnage allowance long before the box looks full. Knowing what belongs in a dedicated yard-waste load instead of getting tangled up with construction debris. And knowing Grand Chute, Kimberly, Little Chute, and every surrounding Fox Valley community well enough to tell you honestly how fast we can get there.
Pick your box
Weight fills a container long before volume does. Tell us what you're throwing away and we will point you at the size that actually fits the job — even when that's the cheaper one.

You reach a real Appleton team, not a national dispatch queue. The person who answers knows which Fox Cities streets a loaded roll-off can actually turn onto and which permit rules apply that day.
Delivery, the rental period, pickup and a stated tonnage allowance rolled into a single number. If something would push you over, we tell you before the truck ever leaves the yard.
Call early and most Appleton and the Fox Cities / Fox Valley orders go out the same or next day. Live jobsite swap-outs get priority over everything else on the schedule.
Owner & Founder Tom Bradley and the Briggs Brothers Dumpster Rental Appleton team coordinate every delivery out of our 1635 W Haskel St yard — not a national dispatch desk. We know which Outagamie County roads a loaded roll-off can actually reach.
Weight fills a container long before volume does. We will talk you into the smaller can if that is the honest answer for your job.
Metals, masonry, unpainted wood, drywall, carpet and clean concrete all get routed for recovery instead of buried wherever's easiest — we will tell you what has to come out of the box before it ever reaches the scale.

Know before you load
A short list is a hard no in every container we set. Paint, solvents, oils, tires, batteries, other hazardous chemicals, propane tanks, gas cylinders and medical or biohazard waste never go in a Briggs Brothers Dumpster Rental Appleton roll-off — no exceptions, no waivers. If you're unsure whether something counts, ask us before you load it.
Wisconsin regulates construction and demolition debris closely. Under state DNR rules, burning C&D debris is illegal, full stop. Clean, untreated material — brick, concrete, unpainted wood, soil and building stone — can often skip solid-waste licensing altogether, but it still has to stay clear of floodplains, wetlands and waterways. Metals, masonry, unpainted wood, drywall, carpet, vinyl siding and PVC pipe are all better recycled separately than buried whole. Our WI DNR debris rules guide covers what that means for your specific pile.
Debris that goes to the landfill goes where it's supposed to. Most of our loads route through the Outagamie County Landfill system on Holland Road, part of a regional Tri-County partnership serving Outagamie, Winnebago and Brown counties. Our Outagamie County landfill guide has the full rundown.
Placement on a public street or sidewalk needs its own City permit. Private property generally doesn't — in most cases no permit is needed if the dumpster stays entirely on your own driveway or property — but a curb-lane container in Appleton runs through the City's own Permit to Occupy the Public Right-of-Way, a small non-refundable fee and up to five business days to process. The Appleton right-of-way permit guide covers when that applies and how it works.
How it works
No forms, no portal logins, no waiting on a quote email. Five steps, and the first is a conversation with somebody who's actually loaded a container.

Tell us the address, roughly what's going in, where you want it and when. That's the entire process on your side. We handle sizing, scheduling, protection, hauling and disposal.
If you're not sure what size you need, don't guess — describe the pile. Sizing containers is what we do all day, and we'd rather talk you into the cheaper box than sell you space you'll never fill. Placing it on the street instead of your driveway? Ask us about the City right-of-way permit — private property generally doesn't need one, but a curb-lane container usually does. See the Appleton right-of-way permit guide.
Call (920) 280-7323One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the box needs to sit and when you need it. No forms, no waiting on an email.
You get one number covering delivery, the rental period, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.
The driver walks the spot with you, lays protection under the rails and sets the container square in the driveway, curb lane or job site.
Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.
Clean concrete, metal and yard waste get routed for recovery rather than buried wherever we can. You get your driveway or curb back the way you left it.

The thing nobody tells you
Most people ordering their first dumpster assume the biggest container is the least risky option. With light, bulky material — furniture, boxes, insulation, cabinetry — that's true. With anything dense it's the opposite.
A 30 or 40 yard box loaded with roofing shingles, or with plaster and lath torn out of an older Appleton home, will blow past its tonnage allowance while it still looks half empty, and the overage gets charged by the ton. A 20 yard with a matched allowance often does exactly the same job for less. Our garage and basement cleanout sizing guide walks through it in detail.
Ask us and you'll get the honest answer, even when the honest answer is the smaller box. The size guide walks through the math, and our older-home renovation debris guide covers what a gut renovation on an older Appleton home usually means for a container order.

Appleton specifics
Appleton is Wisconsin's sixth-most-populous city, spanning parts of Outagamie, Calumet and Winnebago counties along the Fox River as the anchor of the Fox Cities — also called the Fox Valley. The region still carries its old "Paper Valley" nickname, tied to more than a century of real papermaking history up and down the river. Downtown, Lawrence University sits a short walk from the Fox River, and the Hearthstone Historic House Museum is remembered as the first home in the United States lit by electricity from a centrally located hydroelectric power station, back on September 30, 1882. Houdini Plaza and the History Museum at the Castle mark Appleton's other claim to fame — the boyhood home of escape artist Harry Houdini, whose family lived here for a few formative years after immigrating from Budapest. Between the Flag Day Parade every June (one of the nation's oldest and largest, running since 1950), Mile of Music each August and Appleton's Octoberfest each fall, there's rarely a season without a downtown event generating its own cleanup work.
Just outside Appleton's own limits, we run out regularly to Grand Chute, Kimberly, Little Chute, and surrounding Fox Valley communities — Grand Chute alone is the largest town in Wisconsin by population, home to the Fox River Mall and Fox Cities Stadium. Kimberly and Little Chute both trace back to the Fox River paper industry and Dutch heritage respectively; Kaukauna's old Fox River locks district earned it the nickname "The Electric City"; Menasha and Neenah both sit where the river meets Lake Winnebago; and Greenville is one of the fastest-growing communities in the whole region. Whether the job is a downtown Appleton renovation, a farm-adjacent cleanup out past Greenville, or a new build on a Fox Valley lot, the container shows up sized right and the driveway comes back clean.

Called on a Monday morning and had a 20 yard sitting in the driveway by early afternoon. Boards down, spot leveled, and the driveway looked exactly the same when they picked it up a week later.
We build all over the Fox Cities and this is the only hauler that has never left us sitting on a full box. When they say Tuesday, it is Tuesday.
Cleared out my mother's house over a few weeks and they were patient the whole way through. One call and a 20 yard showed up the next morning — took the stress out of an already stressful job.
Renovating an older home near downtown and they still found a way to place the container without blocking the street. Made the whole job a lot less painful.

FAQs
The questions we field most often from Appleton homeowners and contractors. More on the full FAQ page.
We quote a transparent flat rate before the truck ever leaves the yard — delivery, the rental period, pickup and a stated tonnage allowance rolled into one number, with no hidden fees added after the fact. What moves that quote is the size you need, how dense the debris is, how long you keep the container and where in Outagamie County the job sits. Call with a short description of what you're clearing and you'll get a free, firm quote on the spot. Our size guide walks through what usually drives that number.
Every rental gives you real time to get the job done without watching a calendar — enough for the vast majority of cleanouts, remodels and jobsite runs. Working through a bigger project? Call before you're done and we'll talk through extending it — most of the time it's a simple add-on, not a renegotiation. Live jobsite swap-outs and early pickups get priority over everything else on the schedule.
Most orders called in early go out the same day across Appleton, Grand Chute, Kimberly, Little Chute, and surrounding Fox Valley communities. Later calls usually land first thing the next morning. We run Mon–Sat 7:00am – 6:00pm. Jobsite swap-outs get priority because a full container stops a crew working. The honest exceptions are a spot too tight for a loaded truck to reach, or a street placement that needs a City permit first.
In most cases, no city permit is needed if your dumpster stays entirely on your own driveway or property. A container placed on a public street or sidewalk is different — the City of Appleton requires its own Permit to Occupy the Public Right-of-Way for that, with a small non-refundable filing fee and processing that can take up to five business days, so it's worth asking about early rather than the day you need delivery. Not sure which situation applies to you? Tell us where the box is going when you call and we'll tell you exactly what's required. More detail is in our Appleton right-of-way permit guide.
